When the iconic white oak tree in front of Tech Tower was removed due to disease, tree enthusiasts across campus and Atlanta mourned its loss. Students in LMC 2050: A Cultural History of Trees spent the spring semester researching the tree and memorializing it.
A Local Perspective, Globally Realized
School of Architecture students recently explored one of the world’s rarest ecosystems to study how architecture can simultaneously protect the environment and elevate human community. The group went to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
Tech Student-Athletes Post 3.0+ GPA for Eighth Straight Semester
The 3.05 mean GPA for spring semester is the fourth highest in Georgia Tech history. Tech’s student-athletes have recorded a mean GPA of 3.0 or higher each semester since fall 2018.
