The Center for Engineering Education and Diversity (CEED) will double the number of students in its annual summer research program thanks to a new partnership with Amazon. The company is committing $730,000 to support CEED’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience during the next two years.
Instructors Needed for GT 1000, GT 2000
The Office of Undergraduate Education is looking for instructors to teach GT 1000, Georgia Tech’s first-year seminar course, and GT 2000, a seminar course for transfer students. The courses support student retention and success, meet one hour a week, and are taught by faculty and staff volunteers.
Board of Regents Announces Sole Finalist for University System of Georgia Chancellor
The Board of Regents voted Tuesday to name former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and former Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue the sole finalist for the position of chancellor of the University System of Georgia.
